Whether you’re experienced in micro-pigmentation, or a medical professional working in private practice or the NHS and with no experience of the skill, the Cosmedic® Medical-Speciality courses are open to you.

That’s because we offer bespoke training programmes tailored to focus on your specific requirements - you simply tell us your background and the procedures that you wish to learn and we’ll provide you with a proposed course outline. We’ll also offer you the option of training in-house or at our headquarters in London.

Vitiligo that has been in remission for one year can be successfully re-pigmented using specialised techniques that insert several shades of pigment into the hypo-pigmented area to mimic the tonal variance of normal skin.

Cleft Lip Restoration

Micro-pigmentation can improve the appearance of a cleft lip by using pigments that mimic the natural lip colour in order to recreate the cupids bow and achieve a symmetrical shape. Scarring as a result of the reconstructive surgery associated with cleft palate surgery can also be successfully camouflaged.

Hair Replacement

Micro-pigmentation can improve the look of hair deficiency by camouflaging scars and ‘shading in’ bare patches of skin. Treatment sites include the camouflage of hair transplant scars, diminishing hairlines in females, the beard or moustache and the pubic region after caesarean.

Areola and Nipple Restoration

As part of the breast reconstruction process following mastectomy the areola and nipple complex can be restored using specialist medical micro-pigmentation techniques that create the optical illusion of a 3 dimensional complex that looks realistic.

Scarring from breast reduction (Mamoplasty) and uplift (Mastopexy) surgical procedures can also be significantly camouflaged through the implantation of custom blended pigments that disguise the scarring.

Multitrepannic Collagen Actuation (MCA)

MCA or ‘dry needling’ is a micro-pigmentation technique used to re-pigment hypo-chromic skin and improve the appearance of scars. The treatment causes micro-trauma which forces the skin into a state of self-repair. In some cases the results achieved can alter the landscape of the scar, making elevated scars flatter, contracted scars more flexible and stimulating the epidermis to reinstate melanin production,
